Linda uses collage to draw her favourite buildings in Dundee. She doesn't use paint as its "too messy!"
Each colour you see has originally been torn from a magazine and pasted in place and that's why you can read text in some of the images!

LB30 Dundee Sinderin Perths  Road meets Blackie. Linda hs captured the vibrant buzz that is the top end of the Perth Road, a favourite of many Westenders!
LB31 Dundee University, Walking down the Perth Road towards the city you can actually see all of these key Dundee iconic buildings!
LB32 Dundee Waterfront This image is a print of an original collage showing the cycle path along the waterfront with some key buildings rearranged slightly!!

LB04 V&A Landscape, The new V&A is a dramatic addition to the waterfront and Linda has used collage to show the detail of the building with lots of quirky characters who visit even just to pass by as they walk their dog or stop for coffee and donuts!
LB05 Union Street Old and New. Linda wonders if people notice all of these old and new buildings that make Union Street so special!  
LB07 Groucho's Distressed - This stunning building at the start of the Perth Road once housed the best music shop in Dundee, Groucho's!
Linda tried to capture how the music glowed from this shop that meant so much to so many 
LB08 Groucho's Music Crowd - Linda loves the chimneys and windows giving this building such character and added her stylised leaves to draw the eye around the scene.
LB15 Morgan Academy - An iconic building set in beautiful grounds, a true Dundee landmark loved by many.
LB16 Rosy Perth Road - Its the church spires and the backdrop of the Law that makes a compelling composition and layering up collage helps Linda set it all out before she draws in the detail.
LB20 The Queens Hotel - The key venue for weddings back in its heyday The Queens Hotel makes a gracious addition amongst the  remaining trees on the Perth Road. 
LB22 V&A Autumn Leaves - The collaged leaves give a sense of calm and depth to this view captured looking down Union Street with paper collage and drawn details. Linda brings a sense of people browsing on busy shopping days  in the city.
LB23 Penguins - These cute penguin sculptures add a sense of fun! You can find them on the corner opposite the end of Union Street. Linda loves to draw the stylish domes on either end of Whitehall Street.
LB25 Red Bandstand - Magdalen Green Bandstand and the serene beauty of the Fife coastline on the Tay collaged in vibrant red to catch the eye.
